Abhinav Bindra, a shooter, revealed on Wednesday that he struggled with mental health problems after winning the gold medal in the 10m air rifle event at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Bindra, the only Indian to win an individual gold medal at the Olympics, said he felt a “void” after the moment of celebration. He also said that after the feat, he intended to stop shooting.
